In partnership with RSU 25 Adult and Community Education, Bucksport Bay Healthy Communities Coalition is presenting a FREE blood pressure clinic for Bucksport, Orland, Verona Island, and Prospect community members.
Supervised students of the RSU 25 Adult Education program will be providing the blood pressure readings and BBHCC will provide educational materials about how to prevent high blood pressure and healthy eating to lower blood pressure with the DASH diet or Mediterranean Diet.
Bring in your at-home blood pressure cuffs (manual or digital) and the students can calibrate against their equipment to make sure that yours is measuring properly. They can also teach you how to use your blood pressure cuffs for maximum benefit.
