The Children's Fair returns to Bucksport on Saturday, April 8th, 2023 from 9:00 - 11:30 am in the Jewett School Gym.
This fair is open to children of all ages and their families to explore the booths, learn about resources in the area, play games, and visit with friends.
The fire department will be doing free car seat checks. Additionally, there will be a musical instruments exploration room, a "mole" tunnel, healthy snacks, and a bus for kids to play on.
The Bucksport Bay Healthy Communities Coalition (BBHCC) will sponsor a game for kids, provide free crossword puzzles, and children's books for sale. The profits will be donated to the BBHCC's Thrive program which benefits residents of Bucksport, Orland, Verona Island, and Prospect and promotes healthy living for all ages.
