Blood Pressure Clinics
The next blood pressure clinic that BBHCC/RSU25 will do at the Senior Center will be:
January 17th from 4:00 - 6:00 pm with a snow date of January 24th
In partnership with RSU 25 Adult and Community Education, Bucksport Bay Healthy Communities Coalition holds FREE blood pressure clinics for Bucksport, Orland, Verona Island, and Prospect community members.
Supervised graduates of the RSU 25 Adult Education program provide the blood pressure readings and BBHCC provides educational materials about how to prevent or manage high blood pressure and healthy eating with DASH (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension).
You can also bring digital at-home blood pressure cuffs to learn how to use them or check for accuracy.
